Saturday Fun

I was up in my room taking care of Sadie, laundry, etc... and I could hear the boys (all 4 of them) downstairs making a whole lot of noise. When I finally emerged from my bed room, I found this waiting for me.

6th picture tag

Here is the 6th picture in the 6th folder that Katie tagged me for. This was Thanksgiving last year, and although it's kind of blurry, it's of my nephew and the back of my sister and her husband's head. Not quite sure why we've saved it in the archives...but there it is! I tag Megan, Shauna, Sarah D., Shelley, Tami T. and Jan R. Have fun!

Who is in that picture?

A while ago, this picture was up on the computer screen (Jeramy has been going through and scanning old pictures of his family). Jackson saw it and said, "Hey Dad. Who is that in that picture?" Jeramy said, "Who do you think it is?" And Jackson answered, "I think it's you."

I guess that means Jeramy looks like his Dad!

Posted by PicasaSince I put one up of Jeramy's family oldies, I think it's only fair I put one up from my family's. This is my Mom at 18. Doesn't she look pretty? What do you think? Any resemblance?

A simple prayer...

I registered Sawyer for Pre-K today. He wants so badly to go to school like his big brothers. After I registered him, they gave me a packet of things (crayons, practice exercises, scissors, etc...) He was thrilled to have them and he piled it all into his Ninja Turtle backpack and toted it around most of the afternoon. Sawyer said family prayer tonight. In his prayer he said, "Help me to know how to buckle-up by myself. Thankful for my backpack. Thankful for my blue scissors." It made me smile. Kids are so great for helping me to remember to be thankful for even the simplest things. Next time I'm feeling deprived, I'll try to remember to be thankful for blue scissors and kids who teach me simple important truths.
