My Current Infatuation

Ok, so those of you who know me, know that I am still in obsession mode over the Stephanie Meyers "Twilight" book series. I know I have passed this obsession on to some of my friends out there. So, to those of you who are as infatuated with Mr. Edward Cullen, I thought you might be interested to know that Stephanie Meyer is coming to the valley next month for a book signing. Here is the info:

He just will never understand the power of vampire drama.

The Mormon Mom Mafia Membership...

We bought our membership to the exclusive Mormon Mom Mafia...our very first MINI-VAN! We took the plunge this weekend and got a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. It was a very exciting purchase on our part. Our other little car served us well for a very long time, but we out grew it and overworked it. It was basically in shreds when we traded it in. Anyway, the boys like the extra room. Cooper told me that "it's very COOL to have a minivan." (Tell that to Jeramy who flat out refuses to drive it because it is decidedly uncool.) All three boys run to the car and fight over who gets to open and close the doors. It's very nice to have all the extra room, especially the stow and go feature! Needless to say, I'm very pleased with my membership.

I just want to go on record that I wanted to buy this van but Becky thought the boys might have a hard time getting into it. -Jeramy

Our trip to the Spiritual Vortex of the Universe (AKA Sedona)

This were we stayed!

Jeramy and I got to go to sunny Sedona to stay at the Penrose Bed and Breakfast http://thepenrose.com/main.shtml for my birthday/fathers day. It was fun and beautiful. The B&B had beautiful views and we would recommend staying there to any of our friends. Don't we make a cute couple!!

This church is so cool. It's called the Church of the Holy Cross. It's concept was designed in the early 1930's and was kind of co-designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It didn't get built until the 1950's. Jeramy and I love Frank Lloyd Wright designs and thought it was a beautiful structure. It had such neat architectural details and cool views. We both really enjoyed looking at it.

Happy Birthday Babe!!

Yesterday was Beckys birthday and I thought I would post one of my favorite pictures of Becky. This picture was taken when we were dating and she went with my family to Rocky Point without me (I was in Alaska Backpacing for a month). Look at those natural curls.

Jackson's Birthday

Jeramy thought I should post this picture of the birthday cake I made for Jackson's birthday. I always think, "This will be so easy," when I try a project like this. Then three hours into it I wonder "what the heck was I thinking." This one turned out pretty well, though.
